Hai Phong, 04 December 2024 – BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company has commenced construction for BW Deep C 2 Industrial & Logistics Park (“BW Deep C 2”) in Hai An District, Hai Phong City. This milestone marks BW’s 12th project of the year, successfully achieving its 2024 target and bringing the total gross floor area (“GFA”) launched for construction this year to over 1 million square meters.
Strategically located in Hai Phong, a key manufacturing and logistics hub, BW Deep C 2 is poised to capitalize on the city’s vital role as the primary gateway for Vietnam’s imports and exports in the North. The city’s well-developed deep seaport systems handle 100% of Northern Vietnam’s and 27%[1] of the country’s total maritime cargo. Additionally, Hai Phong has emerged one of the top destinations in Vietnam for foreign direct investment (FDI), with recent estimates that FDI will reach $4 billion[2] in 2024, according to the Hai Phong City People’s Committee. Home to global manufacturing giants like LG, Pegatron, Changhong and USI, which along with their supply chain, continues to drive robust demand for factories & warehouses in the region.
BW Deep C 2 enjoys a prime location within the dynamic Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, which offers significant favorable tax incentives, including a four-year corporate income tax exemption, followed by a 50% reduction for the next nine years. The project features a modern single-story mixed-use facility spanning a gross floor area (GFA) of 55,000 square meters, with clear ceiling heights ranging from 7 to 9 meters. Set for completion in the third quarter of 2025, BW Deep C 2 also marks BW’s 10th project in Hai Phong, further solidifying BW’s position as the market leader in this key hub in the North.
