[Business Briefing] THE ROLE OF SOUTHERN VIETNAM IN GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAINS
July 13, 2022 @ 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
For the past two years, the Covid-19 virus has shaken the world, disrupted the global supply chain, and will continue to shape the industrial market for years to come. In the wake of the pandemic, manufacturers across the globe are starting to address the weak link in their strategies, diversify their supply chains and tap into the growing consumer market in the Southeast Asian region.
With favorable conditions like a stable political climate, a young workforce and a growing middle-class still in place, Vietnam remains in a strong position to benefit from the shift. To fully capture the opportunities post-pandemic, the country continues to focus on creating a more welcoming climate for businesses by streamlining the legal and bureaucratic processes, increasing investment into core infrastructure, and offering attractive incentive packages.
Eurocham, in collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam and KCN Vietnam, is delighted to host "The role of Vietnam in global supply chains", an industrial-centric event that aims to draw the curtains back on the part the Southern Vietnam region has been playing within the global supply chains. We will go into details on:
- Logistics and supply chains: what is happening locally, regionally, and globally?
- The role of road infrastructure & ports in the Southern supply chain
- The future logistics hotspots in Southern Vietnam
