Vietnam Private Sector Economic Forum 2019 -“Business Matching Day”

EuroCham would like to forward the Invitation from the Government and the Central Committee's Commission for Economic Affairs to all EuroCham’s members to participate in the “Business Matching Day” under the Vietnam Private Sector Economic Forum 2019 on 3rd May 2019 detail as below:
Implement the Regulation on work coordination of the Government and the Central Committee's Commission for Economic Affairs, with the Prime Minister's approval (announced in Official Letter No. 2447-VPCP-KSTT, dated 27/3/2019 of the Government Office), the Government and the Central Committee's Commission for Economic Affairs co-chair and lead the organization of Vietnam Private Sector Economic Forum, with the theme "The development of Vietnam's private economy becomes an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy, according to Resolution 10-NQ/TW of the 5th Central Conference and Resolution 98-NQ/CP of the Government ”.
Vietnam Private Sector Economic Forum 2019 will take place on May 2nd – 3rd, 2019 at National Convention Center. Detailed information about the event can be found on the websites https://vief.vnexpress.net/ and http://www.vpeforum.vn/
The Forum comprises of the Plenary Session and 6 Workshops, 1 Talk show that includes primary information as following:

- Results of 2 years implementing the Resolutions of the Party and the Government on private economy development
- Public – Private dialogue to remove barriers for private sector economy to break out and become an important driving force of the economy
- The Private Sector gives recommendations to the Party, National Assembly and the Government about:
+ Selectively attract market segments of high-paying tourists with long-term stay to Vietnam
+ Complete institutions and fundamental conditions for the development of digital economy in Vietnam
+ Actively and effectively exploit CPTPP for breakthrough development
+ Expand the medium and long-term capital flows for social-economic development
+ Create and develop sustainably the value chain of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products for international integration
+ New business models and creative startups in Vietnam

Especially, “Business Matching Day” will be held under the Forum for the participants to make business connection. The event will boost the supply-demand relationship between Vietnamese businesses and foreign businesses, providing practical opportunities to help Vietnamese businesses increase exports, develop markets and enhance economical value. Besides that, participants will also have the opportunity to exchange information about demands and selection criteria for regional/ Vietnamese suppliers from multinational corporations; have a direct conversation to assess the actual opportunities for cooperation and market development in near future.
