Are you a self-driven and highly competent leader looking for a new challenge? NordCham is seeking a full-time Executive Director (ED) to join our dynamic team. The ED will play a crucial role in coordinating and motivating our staff, expanding our mission, and executing our strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive NordCham as a successful business with support from the BoM;
  • Full operative execution ownership with BoM guidance;
  • Develop and drive annual PnL with budget forecasting and clear cash flow;
  • Set and achieve ambitious goals with the BoM;
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to achieve NordCham’s goals;
  • Provide insights to assist in defining strategic lines and policies;
  • Identify and inform BoM and Chairperson of relevant issues and changes;
  • Represent and strengthen NordCham’s position with key stakeholders;
  • Promote relations with Nordic institutions and business organizations;
  • Build a Nordic employer brand;
  • Communicate with and assist Members, and oversee Membership growth;
  • Obtain partnerships and sponsorships for NordCham activities;
  • Motivate staff to achieve NordCham’s goals and improve work quality;
  • Supervise all administrative, HR, and financial matters;
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and practices;
  • Ensure a healthy and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of management experience;
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, international affairs, politics, or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of institutional, legal, business, and cultural environments in Vietnam and Nordic countries;
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with high-level stakeholders;
  • Entrepreneurial skills;
  • Excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills;
  • Comfortable in an international and multicultural environment;
  • High proficiency in English.
